Raw Foods

Raw food is food that hasn't been heated above 46 degrees celsius. Having a diet rich in raw foods is a great way of obtaining an adequate supply of enzymes which are needed for optimal digestion. Eating foods that are naturally high in enzymes saves the body from having to make enzymes, a process which depletes energy.

Boosting the body's enzyme supply can help support the body's resistance to infections and diseases. Food in its natural, raw state is also often easier for our bodies to break down, making it easier to absorb essential nutrients. Raw food tends to have an alkalising effect on the body, helping the body to rid itself of toxins.
